Ah birthdays. So much fun as a child and an adult, yet not as exciting now. I mean, of course it wouldn’t be exciting now but even if all of this wasn’t going on, well…. it just seems to be kind of boring. I used to have week long celebrations; going out with friends and coworkers for dinner, drinks, dancing. Now a seafood dinner and 2 glasses of wine fit the bill. Yup, as everyone gleefully welcomes me to my 30’s. Thanks gang! That’s all I’ve got. What about you?

It’s true about birthdays now that I am in my 30’s, celebration is less the point. Happy birthday to you anyhow!
