And so her cancer is back. Stage 4 again but this time in her liver. We are going to pack up and drive back to Canada and then I guess sit and wait for the chemo to start again and see what can be done.
I don’t have to be back to work until March and so will extend my ticket for as long as possible and hope that things get better by the time I need to leave.
I’ve heard that the liver is a regenerating organ so hopefully this is something that will be in her benefit should they be able to operate.
Strange to be sitting here, watching humming birds zipping by and palm trees sway.

I am just a reader of your blog and you don’t know me, but I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I hope things turn out well and you and your mom can enjoy each other’s company cancer free.
